Just started happening.
My Windows 7 Pro shuts off (sort of).

But power is not off.
The front light is on, the cpu fan is running.
The monitor is black, the mouse and keyboard do not react.
The keyboard numlock light come on (normally set to off).

Booting brings it totally back to life and seems to be working just fine.
A disk drive has got G or space and the RAM has 4 of 8 G available.

Running many apps does not affect it.

Power options are set to stay on. Not hibernation, etc.

My main PC !

On my LAN, access to Internet OK.

What might it be ?

Where should i look to find problems.

Thank you.

Check CPU and GPU temperature. Does it also occur if you boot a live
Linux like Ubuntu?
