Hi everybody,

Once I read that Win XP runs COMMAND by default when executing an MS-
DOS application, but this can be changed to CMD. I cannot find where.
I have tried the compatibility mode in the properties window for that
application shotcut.

The only thing I can remember is that it can be done by changing a
setting or a registry key.

The problem is that in Win Vista, the MSDOS windows does not change
the keyboard layout. I need spanish keyboard in the MSDOS window. The
OS and keyboard are in spanish, but when the MSDOS application is
executed, the keyboard detected id US.

Thanks in advance.

Marco.

I can't be certain but I expect you have to run 'keyb sp' (under 'DOS')
where 'sp' probably equals Spanish as, in my case, 'keyb fr' gives me a
French keyboard.

Yes, keyb sp works in WinXP and earlier, but in Win Vista it does not
work.
I was looking for the option to make the MSDOS applications run in CMD
instead COMMAND by default.
This way, I do not have to run keyb sp, CMD does it.

DosBox 0.72 should be your friend.
