Hi folks,
my PC wouldn't fall asleep. After I tried "everything" I give up now.
****** 1. Using command prompt "powercfg" I found out what inhibits the
SYSTEM:
[DRIVER] Realtek High Definition Audio
(HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0272&SUBSYS
_1179FF82&REV_1000\4&457ab5d&0&0001)
The explanation is: An Audiostream is in action and does not allow power
down.
Why? I did not do any change. Hibernation was working before.
****** 2. By the command "requestsoverride" I could override the
process I have been told.
Audio
(HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0272&SUBSYS_1179FF82&REV_1000\4&457ab5d&0&0001)"
System
This command was executed without any error message.
But it did not enable Hibernation / sleep mode.
But: **** when I disabled the "Realtek High Definition Audio DRIVER"
THEN Hibernate did functionate!!! The PC went to sleep.
The pity is, that this is not an useful workaround, because the sound is
dead after.
All this happens on a Toshiba Laptop, stuffed with Win7 Home Premium.
Who can help?
