A lot of people say that Vista is an epic FAIL. Microsoft responded
with Windows 7.

I have this question: is windows 7 really better than vista?

Having tried the RC build (7100), I think Windows 7 improves on the
concept of Vista. But I still don't see the long-awaited WinFS. Argh!

It seems to load and shut down faster than Vista and XP, but there are some
things that are a lot harder to do than in XP (I haven't tried them in Vista).

I have found it a lot more stable. It isn't that much better than XP,
but certainly better than Vista, as far as stability.

And, it has features a bit better than XP. Not a lot, but some. If you
have XP it is a hard choice whether to upgrade. If you have Vista, it is
an easy choice.

Well, that's because Windows 7 doesn't support direct upgrades from XP
and earlier.
