Does anyone know if MS Virtual PC 2007 will run on Windows 7
Professional -64bit? MS lists Vista and below.
I want to run a virtual OS/2 machine which is supported in Virtual
PC 2007
Nothing is said about it's support in Windows 7 Virtual PC (The
newest MS VM-Software)

Thanks in Advance for any "light" here.

Two suggestions: try it and see. That just has to be faster than
asking in USENEt.
Or, run the Win7 VPC version, run a hosted WinXP inside that, run
MSVPC-2007 inside *that* and run your OS/2 inside *this*.

Cool, yes?

Depending on how enthusiastic I was, I might try both of those
methods well before asking in the newsgroups for help. But I *like*
fiddling and learning and exploring.
I know others do not. Many people just want their machines to *work*.
Like microwaves or toasters.
That, too, is cool.

When I have a system running "perfectly," I really hate to mess with
it - as more often than not problems are introduced.

That said, since MS Virtual PC 2007 works with my Vista Laptop, I
tried it on the new Win7Pro-64 and "Lo-and-Behold" it also worked. I
prefer this one as it supplied "guest-additions" for OS2 which also
are working fine. Some have toild me that the Oracle Virtual PC
(Free) also works, but with some limits.
Thanks for the reply - Paul
