Windows 7. I keep getting an error message popping up that says: "ipoint.exe - No Disk" in the title bar. In the body of the message is a big red X and the following message: "There is no disk in the drive. Please please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk3\DR3." It gives the choices of Cancel, Try Again, or Continue. When I click Cancel or Continue (or even the "close X" in the upper right corner of the title bar) I have to do it about 10 times before this box finally disappears. Any ideas how to get ride of it permanently, I have no idea what it is referring to.

Thanks in advance... Bob

Sorry, I don't have a solution, but I'm getting the same thing on Windows 8, except mine is pointing to a lettered removable disk.

For what it's worth (not much, as it turns out) I had the same problem
at one point. Unfortunately, I don't exactly remember the solution but
I think it was to uninstall IntelliPoint, and then download and
install a more recent version of the software.

You can get the most recent version (8.2) of Intellipoint here:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26947

According to Wikipedia, Intellipoint has been discontinued by
Microsoft and replaced by the "Mouse and Keyboard Center" available
here:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/downloads/mouse-keyboard-center

Mind you, iPoint isn't really necessary for basic functionality of
your mouse so it can be safely disabled through MSCONFIG.EXE.
