I believe that my computer used to awake from the sleep mode by moving the mouse or touching the space bar on the keyboard. It doesn't do that anymore. I have to manually push the power button on my laptop. Did I change something in error?

Thanks in advance... Bob

Check here:

1) Click on Start button (orb), then control panel, then hardware and
sound, then Mouse (top of screen, under devices & printers)
2) Click Hardware tab, then "properties" button at bottom
3) Click "Change settings"
4) Click "power management" tab and checkmark the "allow this device
to wake the computer" box.
5) OK your way out of all those windows.
